[Michelle was about to congratulate Ishimaru for acquiring the sword but boy was she surprised when he was suddenly attacked! By the time she arrived at the scene she noticed she already had help then, so slinked back into the sidelines to watch until the end. And during that end, decided to follow up later.]

Ah- Hello? Ishimaru? Are you there?

[By now, Ishimaru is all bandaged and he just completed the task, acquiring a staff in return. He wanted a weapon to defend himself, but nothing that can stab people. It just doesn't feel right to him.]

Michelle? Yes, I am here! It's been a long time since I've last heard from you, but it's good to hear your voice once more! Is there something I can do for you?

Awww, thank you! It's great to hear from you as well!

[Her hesitance vanishes in a flash, and her tone becomes cheerful.]

Oh no, I don't need anything today. I had heard about some big trouble you'd gotten yourself into when you got that sword and wanted to make sure you're doing better!

I'm in fact, doing much better! I was luckily saved by some brave Otherworlders and while I'm truly thankful, it made me realize that I need to learn how to defend myself!

It's all right, I worry about all of my friends. And it's wonderful to hear you're doing better! I'm so glad that there are so many helpful Otherworlders- I've been saved by Zero lots of times myself!

A tonfa...? You'd think I should wield a weapon like that? [They do sound better than a sword at least. They're not sharp at all!]

There's a saying that goes 'the dress doesn't make the girl, the girl makes the dress', and I think it works for weapons too! I wasn't very good with the sniper rifle at first, now I think I'm pretty above average.

[She seems maybe a bit too pleased about that. As for something not as close range...]

I can always try to practice more with dunamis, but having a weapon handy is still preferable. [Especially since Ishimaru can be pretty emotional at... every situation.]

Maybe a staff? J-just one without a blade? [It's still close-ranged, but there's a somewhat bigger gap with that at least.]

Ah ha ha, I'm pretty hopeless with dunami's myself. Big sister says that I really need to get my emotions under control but that's pretty difficult for someone like me.

I was thinking about it! [Plus, it's a lot harder to hurt himself with a staff than other weapons. Probably, at least!] And someone agreed to help train me with it too!
