[Ishimaru steps back with a loud laugh, completely oblivious to the fact that he might've caused another crisis.]

I said that I could not create fire and I proved it to you! I'm a completely normal person just like anyone else!

[Why are you laughing Ishimaru, she is not laughing because this is not a laughing matter.]

Yeah, and what would you have done if you did? You had no idea you wouldn't, did you?

If I started a fire, then I might've possibly unlocked a special talent in me that I never knew about!

[But he's certain that no one in the Ishimaru line had a fire spirit, so no awakening of powers for him!]

NOT counting the ones that I've burned trying to make myself. That was the oven's fault, not mine. But if there were any food violations, I'm pretty sure the bakery would get shut down.

[She holds her hand out for a handshake, not only to complete the deal but as an introduction. It's important to know the names of those who owe you food and the names of those to whom you owe ten steaks to. Priorities.]

[He takes Maya's hand and beams at her, glad that things are finally smoothing over despite his big mess! He really needs to be more careful in the future-- Ishimaru will take this as an important lesson!
