[ It's a big X across his chest, and he taps a finger against it thoughtfully. ]

[That answer only makes him further confused. He hopes that Takuto didn't make that mark on himself! He's surely misunderstanding something here...!]

What do you mean by that? I don't understand what you're trying to imply here!

It came from... saying goodbye to a friend who died. Kinda a boring story, but, I fell through a lot of trees from the sky. I started to really live my life after that point - really make an effort. Natsuo, he was dying from an illness, but every day he kept pushing towards doing what he wanted before it finally got him.

H-how could a story about a friend dying be boring?!

[T-that's horrible! To think someone close to Takuto died-- it's such a sad thought that he doesn't even comment about how painful it would be to fall through a bunch of trees!

Actually, that's how I always thought about it. I couldn't let that spirit and zest for life fade away. I had to live for him, too. Proudly, shining, unafraid.

That is true! We cannot agree on every topic that exists! [Everyone is their own individual in some way and that's a good thing.] But it's still important for us to discuss whatever disagreements we may have and come to an understanding!

I've gotten beaten up by Sugata plenty... but I, uh, have to use it practically, in battle, using my power stuff, so... I get bonus practice under pressure? I guess?

[It sure is glowing!! W-what kind of scar glows like that?! But... it doesn't look like an infection at least! If that was the case, Ishimaru would definitely be worried about him.]

[Ishimaru slowly repeats those words. T-this is starting to sound like an anime, not that he really watches such things. He's always thought they were a waste of time!]

[He looks at Takuto for a moment, before breaking into a large smile. His friend offering to share a secret with him...]

[Even if he doesn't know really know much about fighting in giant robots or being a galactic pretty boy, this is clearly important to Takuto.]
